It's been simply ages since I had a word with you all.
I hope everyone's well & keeping paws warm this cold snowy Winter.
I hope everyone's well & keeping paws warm this cold snowy Winter.
We're having lots more white flurries today!
But unlike Bailey last week, I'm wisely NOT looking outside.
He wishes now, he'd not tried to catch snowflakes on his tongue, as instead, he's caught a Cold - mustn't laugh, just quietly girly giggle.
Naturally being a boy, he claims it's much more serious - Wheelie Flu!
And, he's taken to his or rather Mummy's bed with a raft of tissues...
Remembering my 'virtual' nursing training by experienced WFT Head Nurse Asta, I donned my best Florance Nightingale look & delved in to the family Medicine Chest...I've even taken his temperature & professionally put the thermometer under his tongue...He protested, but I said I could have put it elsewhere!!!
My conclussion is - he'll live.
Since Sir Woodstock thoughtfully suggested Bailey might need lots of Vitamin C to aid his recovery, I've set to work...

You are such a good nurse, Judy. We could've used you around Gramma's house over the holidays.
Hoping Bailey is feeling better soon ... in warmer drier weather.

Hi Judy,
You are such a good nurse to poor ailing Bailey. I'm glad to hear he is better. I do hope you didn't catch the bug.
I would have you as a nurse any day Judy!
