True Colours Thursday - ORANGE!

Well, Mother's colour meme, this week did briefly challenge me, regarding my Hug introduction process.
But, then young Oliver, or as he is affectionately known Ollie, sprang to mind..Well, he is named after an ORANGE carrot top!
It seems, whilst enjoying a Christmas House Party @ a hotel in Hove, the more select resort next to Brighton, Mother found him languishing in the British Heart Foundation charity shop there.
She rescued him and named him after a very attrative and attentive waiter with the said hair colouration, who had caught her attention!!!
Very interesting - as never imagined Mother was flighty!
Ollie the waiter is history but this fine huggable fellow remains.
And, here we are together before taking over the laptop to blog this...Hugs to all,

PS...
Yesterday, Mother had a private email from Maggie & Mitch and wheelie Miss Autumn, to say they had discovered a little more of Merry's American story
They wrote:-
"Our mom has a sieve for a brain sometimes!
Guess where Merry came from?
Awhile back mom and dad were taking regular trips to WOODSTOCK, Vermont!
Merry came from a place called the Enchanted Doll House!
We thought that you should know the town where mom found and adopted her!
What a coincidence!
This was truly meant to be!"
I could not agree more.

Oh Sir Woodstock! How very honored I am to meet you kind sir. It is so wonderful to have a growing family. I am so glad that you are my nephew! I would like to introduce you to Miss Rosie before Valentine's day because she sits all lonely on her shelf and no one ever pays her a compliment. SHe has other bear friends who wait with her...some get a lot of attention. The Tangerine Bear for example, he is always in demand around here. Have you seen the movie TANGERINE BEAR? It is utterly delightful and you would love it as we do. Do look it up!
I will try to get Miss Rosie to comb her furs and was her face and put on her best collar for her chance at romance....
Love Miss Peach your Auntie

Hi Sir,
That's an awfully cute orange you found there. Isn't it cool that Merry came from a town called Woodstock? It was fate!
Love,
Aunt BJ
