Monochrome Monday - Entrance Gates!

Having been given the go ahead to become a Monochrome Manic, by its gracious creator & host Aileni, I thought this week, I would tinker with a photograph of my believed & beloved birthplace.
These are the Palace's front entrance gates - imposing, do you not think...

That's some gate. I can't begin to imagine what lies behind it.

Well done, my dear old fellow.

B&W makes this gate entrance even more imposing. At the same time classic and well decorated. Like the door finely wrought. Majestic entrance in Monochrome Maniacs.

There are so many places around the world that I would like to see, and so many subjects I would like to photographer. Thank you for shoving me one of them. Great post :)

Is this you blue? Reminds me of my old school trips and first honing the camera skills on a kodak film camera. Fabulous nostalgia.
