True Colours Thursday - COBALT!

After regretably, appearing blog-wide wearing PEACH pants, earlier this week, NO thanks to Mother and Bob T Bear, Esq - Cringe, Cringe - I decided that COBALT Hug member Bruge', would have take a back seat...I need to show off, my preferance for blue, a much more masculine colouration, suitable to my gender!!!
So, as Mother was not featuring her COBALT silk scarf and long shirt, I borrowed them...

Happy 'Berfday' Bob!

I am none too pleased that Mother saw fit to send another photograph of me wearing pants on my head to young Bob T Bear Esq, this time for his 'Berfday Pants Gallery', now posted for the world to see on his blog...And, I will have you know, they are not PINK pants, that is a trick of the light - they are actually PEACH!
But, putting this embarrassment aside, I do wish the cheaky youngster, a very Happy Birthday!
Do hope your Chocolate Biscuit Tin is never empty...
Hugs ang Greetings!

True Colours Thursday - GREY!

Since Mother's colour was SILVER, a few months back, we have had an addition to the household Hug in the shape of blue nosed, pale GREY, youngster Patches.
Here he is, contemplating three dark GREY Hematite tumble stones...This little patched, 'Me to You' bear, who was once, a loving gift to someone, was abandoned @ Dreamingspires British Heart Foundation charity shop.
Soft hearted Mother, could not resist him.
He was only priced @ a mere 50 pence.
Why!
Because he was only thought suitable as dog toy!
Now nothing against pups, but no quality bear, no matter how small is worth that little, never ever, ever.
Mother later went & looked in Clinton Cards, a shop, who specialising in selling his compatriots.
Wow, was this poor fellow under valued.
But, to us household Hug bears, he's now a priceless new member.

Wheelie Wednesday - Judy Catches Up & Introduces!

"Hi, it's me Judy!
Golly, gosh, it has been a long time, since I had a word!
Mummys travels have kept both Bailey & I from posting!
I was very sad, to miss out on the very first Fox Terrier Rescue walk too, as
wanted to meet @ a distance, the one & only Jackson, as his 'wheelie' & I are clones of him!
The event was apparently a great success without my presence.
More walks are planned, but further a field!
I'm hoping Mummys travel lust, will get us there.

Anyway, talking of Mummy, she is off again on Friday!
This time to the seaside, Brighton no less.
Am contemplating on stowing away in her suitcase as know the Jax lives close by, and we, have a gift for his J1, found @ the local Antiques Market.
Allow me to introduce him...
He is a bit of a grouch, just look @ that expression...
Tried to give him a cuddle but...Only hope he likes his new prospective home, more than here!

And, Woodsocks just reminded me to say...
"Happy Birthday to Miss Bearzil!"
Foxy love & wheelie wishes,
xxx"

I think this fellow would have made a fine addition to our garden...Do not understand why Mother did not smuggle him home in her suitcase, when she returned from visiting friends last week!

Happy Birthday Mother!

I consider, you can never have enough of a good thing!
So, thought, Mother might appreciate this Andy Warholizer Greetings card of me...
It being Mothers Birthday today, I have been inclined to wonder about my own special day.
Since memories are very vague, prior to my 'rescue', I have decided to adopt my believed birthplaces most famous son's date of birth, especially since it is very close to to when Mother found me sadly languishing on an stall in Dreamingspires Antiques Market.
Sir Winston [Leonard Spencer] Churchill, was born at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock on November 30th, 1874!
Well, I am not that ancient for sure, but it is a fine date.
And, Grandmother was a November baby too.
How old am I?
Since I do not know, I cannot tell!
However, I am sprightly in spirit.
And, very young in heart, if mature in mind and mohair.

Pooh on Swine Flu!

Now, as much as I loathe the use of the F-word, it is so very unnecessary and in my humble opinion merely shows a lack of vocabulary - we, as in the 'royal we', had to bear laugh, when Mother showed me this Winnie the Pooh cartoon she found over at friend Wilma's...Hugs,

True Colours Thursday - CERISE!

As this weeks colour is in honour of Mothers B'Day twinny Princess Snowball, I decided that it was only appropriate, that I introduce Rosy.
Not, my dear Miss Rosie bear, but Rosy Airedale, a fashion conscious Stuffie, but honorary Hug member!
Here she is with yours truly, wearing her CERISE PINK dress...Rosy and her dainty outfit were all hand-made and embroidered by Snowball's clever jie-jie...
Then, sent all the way from Singapore, as a Birthday gift for Mother last year.

Naming Assistance Reguired!

Mothers return was a dark affair and she is still not her usual self.
As each meeting with gentleman friend Little Buddy, leaves her so disheartened, I am seriously beginning to wonder if this thing called 'Romance' is all it is made out to be!!!
I may even have to reconsider whether I pursue my own courtship of dear Miss Rosie, cousin Peach's genteel lady bear, who I sent Valentines and Easter greetings cards too!

Moving on, I did have a quiet, reproachful word with Mother about her lack of postcards from Canada, after all I went to so much trouble making her those special stamps.
She confessed that unlike Las Vegas, she had not sent a single card - shame on her!
But, she did remember to bring me back one of real Grizzly Bear...
On past BC travels, Mother has spied Black Bears feeding close to the highway verges and even had one walk cross in front of her and LB when hiking out at Whistler.
But, she had no such bear sightings this trip.
That may have been for the best, as they are only just emerging from their long Winter hibernation, and are known to be highly unpredictable and cantankerous at this time due to hunger pangs
I imagine if I had not eaten for many months I would be too!
Anyway, after producing my card, Mother introduced me to 'Sweetie'...
Now, cute as he looks, in his Canadian sweatshirt, I do not think this is at all an appropriate name for a Grizzly, so am looking for help here.
All suggestions are most welcome.
The only information I have about his heritage is that is a Cuddle Critter and he was found at Three Valley Gap.
Hugs,
