True Colours Thursday - PINK!

As today is Mother's meme [do not like that word], thought, I would take this PINK opportunity, to introduce the newest member to my Hug!
One of Mother's near neighbours went away for Christmas.
She, Teri, is American, you know - hails from Boston it seems; where we have good WFT friends, Agatha & Archie.
Mother had looked after Teri's exceedingly pregnant cat Penny last Summer - not a great experience by all accounts!!!
So much so, the family still feel indebted to her!
Hence, young daughter, brought back a girl Bear in her favourite colour, from Massachusetts.
She, now christened Fushia, is very, very bright PINK....
And, in my eyes is a touch over the top re patriotism - has a 'Stars & Strips' heart on her right paw!
We, Brits would never go that far.
However, I have welcomed her warmly - not everyone gets to sit on my lap...

Hi Sir Woodstock,
Fushia is certainly a beautiful color of pink. In hindsight, it was a terrible choice, but when I was 8 years old, I got to pick out the paint color for my room in the house my father built. The color was very near this shade of pink. Between you and me, I got a little tired of looking at it after about age 10, but it was still that color when I moved out of the house after I graduated high school.
Love ya,
Aunt BJ
